The third installment of Fantastic Beast movie series was announced in November 2019 that the filming of the third Fantastic Best movie is scheduled to begin in Rio De Janeiro in spring 2020. But with the current pandemic situation, the schedule and the release date might get postponed.
The Fantastic Beast follows the adventures of an introvert British wizard, magizoologist, and an employee of the Ministry of Magic named Newt Scamander played by the talented Eddie Redmayne. The Fantastic Beast movie series is a collective British and American production which is a spin-off and prequel to the Harry Potter Series.
In the Fantastic Beast 3, one will see Eddie Redmayne reprising his role of Newt Scamander, Katherine Waterston will be playing the role of Tina Goldstein, Johnny Depp has confirmed that he will come back as Gellert Grindelwald.
Jude Law will also be seen again as Young Dumbledore. Dan Fogler will be playing the role of Jacob Kowalski, while Alison Sudol will be playing Queenie Goldstein, Ezra Miller will return as Credence Barebone so does Callum Turner as Theseus Scamander. David Yates is slated to direct the third installment in this Fantastic Beast series.
The first installment of the Fantastic Beast series was Fantastic Beasts, and Where to Find Them, it was Warner Brother’s best performer of 2016. While the second installment Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald underperformed in the box office with quite a number of negative reviews were given about the movie.
Fantastic Beast series has been following a two-year release pattern with the first installment released in November 2016 while the second installment was released in November 2018.
The yet to be named the third installment of Fantastic Beast was scheduled for November 2020 release. Still, it is now postponed to release in November 2021. The reason for the postponement of the third installment was that by pushing the release date, it will allow the filmmakers an ample amount of time and space to work on the script.
This time and space will help filmmakers to flourish their creativity, and this will guide the filmmaker in making the best installment in the series of Fantastic Beasts. This was explained by Toby Emmerich, the Group Chairman of Warner Bros Picture Group.
