The Reliance Jio platforms are now all set to start a new business soon after completing a fundraiser run of 15.2 billion dollars. The new venture will be of Video Conferencing. The richest man in India, Mukesh Ambani formally announced ‘JioMeet’, a video-conferencing service that is quite similar to ‘Zoom’. The launch took place on Thursday.
FEATURES OF ‘JioMeet’
Like other video-conferencing services out there, JioMeet also offers unlimited high-definition free calls; which hosts up to 100 people in one call.
Another interesting thing that should be noted is that the calls will be uninterrupted for almost 24 hours and it is so good that the call duration has not been limited to a small fraction of time.
Currently, ‘JioMeet’ does not have any paid plans. But it is quite unclear, What they are going to do.
Although Jio platforms usually give out free services for some period of time.

There is also another feature that allows safe communication even when the participant is commuting.
Can Everyone Use ‘JioMeet’?
As of now, we do not have further details regarding who can use ‘JioMeet’ and who cannot use it. The company has not made it clear whether people from outside India can use ‘JioMeet’ or not.
On their website, they have claimed that all their meetings are going to be ‘encrypted’, but we don’t know whether they are going to be end-to-end encrypted or not.
