They say a good story needs a good cast to become best. Well, Lucifer had it both. The best fusion series ever made. The portrayal of both protagonists and the tease it kept alive throughout the season was commendable. The plot, the direction, the acting is of the pure top-notch with the supernatural element. The show is a great combination of humor, good writing, and good casting. The dialogue is witty, often funny, and very temporary. Tom Ellis is pitch-perfect: lovable at the same time arrogant, critical and self adsorbed. Can’t imagine anybody playing the role better. Lauren German makes a good foil for lucifer in the character of Chloe. All the characters move in and out of the stories but never seem forced. It’s good that they did not keep the mother theme going as it would have worn thin.
On paper, this series should never have drawn so much talent. One gets the feeling the people involved in this project could conquer the world by mesmerizing the planet with BIGFOOT and WILD BOY remake.
Lucifer is a mesmerizing protagonist and the way he handles each case is very entertaining to watch. His interaction with Chloe’s daughter, Trixie shows how much he cares for her (AFTER SEASON 3). While, on the other side, the way Tom Ellis has portrayed the character of the Devil Lucifer is really praiseworthy. Every episode comes up with an amazing plot and a moral value, which helps Lucifer learn more about human beings and of course his Dad.
Eve, the instantly loved character. Her innocent yet alluring personality makes her so adorable. The way her character arc develops from a naïve, somewhat selfish beauty to someone who is willing to risk her life for the people she cares about is absolutely beautiful.
The whole series revolves around Lucifer and his extraordinary friends, a psychiatrist Dr. Linda, an angel Amanadiel, a demon Maze, three homicide detectives viz Chloe Dan, and Ella and other weird celestial beings like the Goddess, Cian, Azrael. The acting of all actors either it is TOM ELLIS (LUCIFER), LAUREN GERMAN (DT. CHLOE ), ISELEY-ANN BRANDIT (MAZE), D.B. WOODSIDE(AMENADIEL), RACHAEL HARRIS (LINDA), AIMEE GARCIA (ELLA LOPEZ), SCARLETT ESTEVEZ(TRIXIE). The chemistry of maze and Trixie and Lucifer and Chloe is so true that it feels like they all are real-life partners. The character Ella Lopez played by Aimee Garcia is superb. The character feels so happy, cheerful, and lovely.
